Oh Deer in My Yard

What is this deer doing in my yard? This little doe spent most of the day with me. After wandering around between the cars in the morning, she lazed under the shade of the apple trees for the rest of the day. Occasionally, she rose to nibble on the young raspberries before heading back to her comfortable spot.

What a pleasant way to spend a late spring afternoon.

Oh My Deer in Our Subdivision

Driving around our suburb the other day, we spotted these two guys enjoying a leisurely breakfast. We have a few deer who hang out in our yard along with raccoon, possum, squirrel, chipmunk and a variety of birds. It’s like having a little backyard zoo.
